Protein G, PerCP conjugated
Introduction:
Recombinant streptococcal protein G lacking the albumin binding region thereby avoiding undesirable reactions with albumin, though the Fc binding domain is still present. The recombinant Protein G is produced in Escherichia coli using sequence from Streptococcus C1-C2-C3. The Protein G contains 196 amino acids (190-384) having a molecular mass of 21.6 kDa. The Protein-G migrates on SDS-PAGE around 30 kDa.
Peridinin, a light-harvesting carotenoid, is associated with chlorophyll, which binds the protein subunits to form the peridinin-chlorophyll-protein light-harvesting complex (PerCP) in dinoflagellates, best studied in Amphidinium carterae.
Protein G, PerCP conjugated is a protein G labeled by PerCP.
Formulation: 100 µg of Protein G conjugated with PerCP in PBS.
Excitation Laser: Blue Laser (482 nm)
Application: In 0.1 ml PBS
Immunofluorescence (IF) 1: 50-1:200
Flow cytometry 1: 100-1:500.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Specificity:
Protein G binds with greater affinity to most mammalian immunoglobulins than Protein A, including human IgG3 and rat IgG2a, and does not bind to human IgM, IgD and IgA.
Usage:
This product is for research use only. It is not approved for use in humans, animals, or in vitro diagnostic procdures.
