Job Description

Experience and Education

Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in field of assignment.

Two years college with emphasis in coursework in field of assignment and two years of laboratory experience at level of Laboratory Technical Assistant or equivalent.

Job Duties

The candidate selected for this position will assist researchers by performing a variety of routine scientific and experimental techniques such as cell and molecular, and biochemical studies. This will include RNA isolation, DNA isolation, running flow cytometry assays, Elisas and other research assays.

In addition s/he will collect, verify, record, and compile data and information related to research projects; order chemicals, reagents, and other laboratory supplies; track, label and store all samples for the assay; operate laboratory equipment and flow cytometry instruments.
