“DESCRIPTION

CD57 is expressed on subpopulations of peripheral blood mononuclear cells, NK active cells and Tcells. Hematopoietic malignancies that are CD57+ include a minority of T-lymphoblastic leukemias, roughly three quarters of the indolent T-cell large granular lymphocytic leukemias, and a small portion of NK-cell lymphomas. It can be used to highlight small lymphoid cells in nodular lymphocytic predominant Hodgkin lymphoma.
